Shawn Loh graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012 and has experience working in the optical retail, education, and healthcare industry. He is currently in practice as a clinical optometrist at the Singapore National Eye Centre where he not only does refraction but also runs clinic sessions alongside ophthalmologists and is part of the optometrist-led Mobile Eye Bus screening initiative. He is part of the education domain in SNEC’s Optometry Service department, where he teaches medical students and residents on basic concepts of visual acuity, retinoscopy, and refraction as part of their learning programme. His key interest is in Primary Eye Care and he believes in continuous upskilling so as to provide better patient management.
