Myopia and glaucoma have important implications on the global healthcare burden. Increasing myopia is an established risk factor for glaucoma. However, accurate diagnosis and the appropriate management of glaucoma in myopic eyes remain challenging. Recent insights gleaned from cross-disciplinary research to tackle the issue of myopia-associated glaucoma will be discussed.
