Dr. Rohit Shetty completed his basic medical education at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, and postgraduate studies (DNB) at St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He subsequently underwent a neuroophthalmology observership at UC Irvine (USA) and a refractive surgery observership at University of Mainz, Germany. He undertook his FRCS (Glasgow) in 2006. His areas of interest are refractive surgery, clinical electrophysiology, neuroophthalmology and clinical research. He is a member of KOS, ASCRS, and the International Society of Electrophysiology and Vision. He has been an invited faculty at national and international meetings involving refractive surgery, neuroophthalmology and electrophysiology. He has various publications in national and international peer reviewed journals such as Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, American Journal of Ophthalmology, and Ophthalmology. He is currently a senior consultant and Vice Chairman of Narayana Nethralaya.
