Dr Naren Shetty is head of the department of cataract and refractive surgery at Narayana Nethralaya. He specializes in LASIK, SMILE, phakic and premium IOL implantation in cataract surgery and has performed over 22,000 cataract and 4,000 refractive surgeries. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including Best Paper (KOS 2012), Travel Grant Award (ARVO 2015), Best Paper of Session (APACRS 2022), and ICL Young Achievers Award 2022.
