Dr. Myoung Joon Kim is a founder and surgeon at Renew Seoul Eye Center, specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He is passionate about physiological optics, new technologies, and innovation. He has served as faculty ophthalmologist at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, for over 10 years, teaching residents and fellows. He has been awarded numerous prizes at international ophthalmology meetings for video presentations, particularly his “Let There Be Wavefront” series, which won prizes at the ASCRS Film Festival five years in a row, from 2011 to 2015.
