John WONG

John Wong is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and anterior segment surgeon with the National Healthcare Group Eye Institute (NHGEI) @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital. His practice includes femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, subluxated cataract management, lens fixations, iris repair/implants, and premium IOLs. He is also experienced in the management of all general ophthalmic conditions. In 2018, he received the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award from the National Healthcare Group (NHG). He has presented at various international conferences and has published numerous scientific papers in international ophthalmology journals. He serves as the deputy lead of the Clinic Management Committee in NHGEI. He also teaches as Senior Clinical Lecturer with NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Clinical Teacher with NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
