Ishtiaque ANWAR

Dr. Ishtiaque Anwar is a fellowship trained Cataract and Refractive.

He did his Post Graduate Degree FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. His Cataract and Refractive Surgery fellowship is rom Iladevi Cataract & IOL Center, India where he had the opportunity to work under Dr. Abhay Vasavada, one of the pioneers in this field.

Interests: Practice of new technologies in Ophthalmology, education and community outreach programs. He has special interest in teaching. He is the trainer of Phacoemulsification in Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital, a non-profitable sister concern of Bangladesh Eye Hospital. He does Phacoemulsification, Glaucoma Surgeries and LASIK routinely. But his special interest is in managing complex Cataract and Glaucoma cases.
