Dr. David Lubeck is a cataract, corneal, and refractive surgeon who has practiced in Chicago for 23 years. He completed his medical training at Northwestern University and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago, where he is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology. He served a fellowship in corneal surgery at Flinders Medical Center, Adelaide, Australia.
Dr. Lubeck is compelled by the methodology and psychology of surgical learning and practice development. His primary focus is to make current surgical principles, techniques, and instrumentation accessible to physicians at all levels of experience. Curricula that he has developed have been integrated into surgical teaching programs in several countries.
