Candice Ow graduated from the National University of Singapore with Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 2009 and has more than 10 years of experience as a Medical Social Worker. She is a registered social worker with the Singapore Association of Social Workers and has also served as a member of the Medical Social Worker Chapter under SASW. She has been supporting patients and their families in coping with the biopsychosocial impact brought about by patients’ visual challenges. She also has experience in the running of support groups for low vision patients and was part of the SNEC low vision rehabilitation team for the Senior Eye Rehabilitation Programme (SEER) from 2016–2018.
