Dr Baskaran Mani is the Deputy Director, Glaucoma Services and Vision Research Foundation at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He was a Clinician Scientist at the Singapore Eye Research Institute/Singapore National Eye Centre between 2004 and 2020. He has more than 250 international publications (H Index: 58), 8 book chapters, and 8 co-patents in the field of glaucoma. He was involved in four major epidemiological surveys and several RCTs. His current research focus involves imaging, diagnosis and management of angle closure in Asia, genetics of primary congenital glaucoma, and software algorithms in anterior segment imaging.
